Product Description
Mercury lamps are excellent sources of high intensity DUV-VIS spectral lines; they are widely used as excitation sources. The systems described here run our 200, 350 and 500 W Hg lamps. You can interchange between lamps by simply changing socket adapters in the lamp housing. These sources consist of: • Lamp Housing with a condenser and a built-in ignitor • 69910 Arc Lamp Power Supply• Your choice of mercury arc lamp• All necessary cables and mounting hardware Mercury lamps are excellent sources of high intensity DUV-VIS spectral lines; they are widely used as excitation sources. | | Oriel Lamp Housing is designed to operate in a typical laboratory environment (typically 68 to 76 degrees F, up to 45% relative humidity). Temperature and humidity outside of typical laboratory range can contribute to cooling and ignition faults. Cooling issues will cause the over temperature sensor to open, and ignition problems will result from high humidity. Contact Newport technical representative for more information if operating outside the suggested range. |
