Product Description
Model F-COL Series Fiber Pigtailed Collimators consist of a multimode or single-mode fiber precisely aligned to a Gradient Index (GRIN) lens assembly, which is ideal for collimated light applications.
Each fiber is contained in a glass ferrule, angle polished and AR coated to assure low back-reflection into the fiber. A protective metal housing sleeve and strain relief boot provide excellent environmental protection to the final assembly.
Applications for a single fiber collimator include laser beam delivery systems, as well as coupling the output of a fiber into a detector. Applications of pairs of collimators include beam expansion systems for lab applications, as well as fiber-to-fiber coupling in compact components.
