Product Description
Newports Fiber Pigtailed Laser Diodes consist of Fabry-Perot devices, having a fiber pigtail precisely attached for optimum coupling efficiency. A multitude of center wavelengths635, 670, 1310 and 1550 nmand power levels ranging from 0.3 to 6 mW, are offered in one standard size package, which is also compatible with Newports 700P Temperature Controlled Mount. All laser diodes include a back facet photodiode.
Both single and multimode light output versions are offered, having a one-meter, 4/125 mm, 9/125 mm or 50/125 mm fiber pigtail. All fiber pigtails are terminated with FC style fiber optic connectors. Applications include high-speed data and telecommunications systems and instrumentation, and optical instruments requiring a laser diode light source.
