Easily locate and analyze high power laser sources in the infrared (IR) or ultraviolet (UV) wavelength range with powers up to 10KW/cm
2 with these pocket sized, low-cost alternatives to
Infrared Viewers. These cards contain a special sensor that emits clearly visible light when illuminated by IR or UV sources. This allows for the easy location of IR and UV beams and their focal point, even in the dark, and the visualization of spatial mode patterns. The cards are always ready to use with no optical charging required. Low power, high sensitivity
Infrared and Ultraviolet Sensor Cards are also available.
Model F-IRC-HP converts IR radiation from 950-1150 nm and 1480 - 1650 nm to visible green, while the F-UVC-HP converts UV radiation from 190-390nm laser to visible red light. Both the IR and UV cards are suitable for cw and pulsed lasers. The 23 x 23 mm active area is located at one end of the 25 x 100 mm anodized Aluminum card for both models. Typical applications include sensing and locating Excimer lasers, Gas lasers and ND:YAG lasers at fundamental and harmonic frequencies.

The model F-IRC-HP-M is a larger area high power sensor card sensitive in the 780-1070 nm wavelength range. With it's 50 x 63 mm active area, and ability to withstand powers up to 80 W/cm
2, the F-IRC-HP-M is particularly suited for mode structure analysis when profiling a laser beam. The F-IRC-HP-M produces a high contrast of different intensities in the yellow wavelength range allowing transverse modes of YAG lasers become visible. The F-IRC-HP-M sensor is located at one end of a 50 x 100 mm anodized Aluminum card.
