The Pulseo Advantage
|
-
>20 W average 355 nm power and higher repetition rates for faster throughput- High pulse energy (>200 µJ/pulse) and wide repetition rate range (1 Hz 250 kHz) enables flexible use in many OEM applications
- Excellent pulse-to-pulse stability (<5%) provides optimal outcomes with constant, even machining and high-quality processing
- Compact, industrial design for easy integration
- Fiber-coupled, field-replaceable diodes in the power supply require no realignment of the laser head when diodes are exchanged

The new Spectra-Physics Pulseo high-power UV laser incorporates reliable technologies from field-proven Spectra-Physics diode-pumped solid state (DPSS) lasers. Designed to produce 20 W of power, the Pulseo is the first in a series of lasers driving towards ever-higher powers and repetition rates.
With a short 20 ns pulse width at 100 kHz, the Pulseo laser oscillator generates the high-intensity peak power necessary for the next-generation of scribing and dicing applications. The extremely high peak power also provides the best quality material processing. A Master Oscillator Power Amplifier (MOPA) design extends the high peak power pulses of the HIPPO laser to four times the average power, while maintaining its advantageous short pulse width, even at higher repetition rates. Enclosed in a single monolithic housing, the Pulseo is compact and easy to integrate.
The Pulseo laser is pumped with field-replaceable FCbar ProLite® diodes for high power, long lifetime, and easy maintenance. A closed-loop chiller and integrated air purge ensure stable and reliable laser operation. Advanced indexable harmonic generation with high conversion efficiency provides increased output power with minimal loss. |
