Product Description
TSPW Series precision linear stages are specifically designed for production, test, measurement and inspection applications requiring exceptional performance and a large work surface. They complement our TSP stages and offer a rigid base for precision XY stacking of stages. TSPW stages replace TSW stages, offering higher resolution and higher sensitivity in the same envelope. All TSPW stages incorporate smooth running DC motors with tachometer feedback and low thermal expansion glass scale encoders providing 0.1 mm resolution. Eliminating a gearhead and measuring the actual motion on the drivetrain makes these stages highly responsive, accurate and repeatable. For added convenience, the stages include a knob for manual adjustment. TSPW stages are machined from stress-relieved 7075 aluminum ensuring long term strength and stability. All critical stage surfaces are machined twice and precision ground, under strict temperature and quality controls, to further improve overall performance and accuracy. Each stage uses high-quality precision anti-creep crossed-roller bearings for long life and increased load capacity. The anti-creep bearings with geared retainers avoid bearing cage migration, which might occur with linear bearings in high-throughput applications with high acceleration rates or off-center loadings.
